The costs to decontaminate your facility whether it be a scrap yard, steel plant, or waste facility, are extremely high, so care must be taken to prevent such radioactive contamination from entering your premises. RadComm Systems is the leader in vehicle radiation detection systems in Canada. All our systems utilize RadComm’s high quality specially prepared Polyvinyl Toluene (PVT) scintillators, electronics and Photomultiplier Tube (PMT).

The RC2000 series of radiation detection systems have been designed for detection capability for buried Gamma Ray sources in moderate density materials. The RC2000 can accommodate from 1-5 panels ranging from 69, 91, and 138L for a 2 panel configuration. Detection capability is down to 1.6 uCi for an unshielded source.

The RC4000 series are designed to detect very low Gamma Ray emissions in high density materials, with 1-8 panels with sizes from 69, 91 and 126 L for a 2 panel system. Detection capability is down to 1.1 uCi for an unshielded source.

 

Inputs/Outputs:

Our vehicle systems have controller features that include a large touchscreen LCD Monitor and a a User Friendly Graphical interface allowing the operator to easily move through the wide range of user options, in a multi lingual menu system. Detailed alarm records are stored on the internal hard drive and can be easily retrieved.
